Our Purpose

The purpose of First Baptist Church is to Love God, Love People, Serve the World.  Our mission at First Baptist Church is to bring people to Jesus and membership in His family, develop them to Christ-like maturity, and equip them for ministry in the church and life mission in the world, in order to magnify God’s Name.

What To Expect

What should I wear?

Dress comfortably. While some people dress up, others wear casual and comfortable clothes on Sunday mornings. Don’t worry about what you wear. Just come and experience the difference!

When should I arrive?

On Sunday, our first service starts at 9:00am. Sunday School for all ages begins at 10:15AM. The second service starts at 11:30 AM.

What about my children?

We provide quality preschool and children’s programs in a safe and secure environment. The programs are both exciting and worshipful!  Children are invited to attend worship with their parents.  For children up through 4th grade, Children’s Church is available during the message portion of the late service.

How will I know where to go?

FBC Azle has greeters at the door and at the welcome desk as you enter. They are ready to escort you to the appropriate classes on Sunday mornings. Please don’t hesitate to ask questions; they are happy to serve!
